Our initial findings indicated that improving what people eat could lead them to behave more sociably as well as improving their health, said Professor Stein. "This is not an area currently considered in standards of dietary adequacy and little is currently known about optimum nutrient dosages required for brain function or behaviour. We are not saying that nutrition is the only influence on behaviour but we seem to have seriously underestimated its importance."
The new study will be led by Professor John Stein at the University of Oxford and Natural Justice. Professor Stein and colleagues believe that the reason why supplements can have such a large effect is because the proper functioning of nerve cell membranes and signalling molecules depends upon adequate amounts of minerals, vitamins and essential fatty acids in the diet.

Saddam Hussein was the most popular news topic for Yahoo Search users in 2007. "Saddam Hussein loomed larger in death than in life," said Heather Cabot, Yahoo Web Life Expert. The former Iraqi dictator was the ninth-searched term in 2006. Americans wanted to read about the Middle East: Iran (second), Iraq (third) and Afghanistan (ninth) all made the list. President George W. Bush came in fourth, while Democratic presidential contenders Barack Obama (sixth) and Hillary Clinton (seventh) jockeyed for Internet users' attention. National disasters -- the San Diego fires (eighth) and the Virginia Tech shooting (10th) -- and oil and gas prices (fifth) rounded out the top ten. In compiling the top searches, Yahoo filtered out company names, general topics (such as "movies" or "downloads"), X-rated content and technological terms.

Talk about oak in wine, and one might picture rows of barrels, each cask snuggled into the two below. Go on a winery tour, and you'll march past walls of barrel tops decorated with coopers' stylized logos and winemakers' chalked notes. Read an account of visiting a French cellar, and you'll see descriptions of weathered barrels. Perhaps even more than vines, barrels are the most iconic symbol of a winery. Wine and oak casks have been partners for centuries. But if you like oak character and relatively inexpensive wines, your nightly beverage probably didn't carry on that tradition. Modern wineries have started to oust barrels from their throne. Barrel alternatives - staves, chips and dust tossed into stainless steel tanks with the wine - have gained ground in cellars by offering winemakers new opportunities, mimicking the best aspects of casks and giving customers the oak-influenced flavor profile they want.

NY Judge Denies Foxy Brown's Travel Plea
Brown, whose real name is Inga Marchand, was sentenced in September 2007 to a year in jail for violating probation. Jackson had put her on probation after she pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault of two manicurists at a Manhattan nail salon in August 2004. Brown's albums include "Ill Na Na" and "Chyna Doll," and she is known for her sexy outfits and racy lyrics. Her lawyer, Laura M. Dilimetin, had no comment on the ruling. .
